My Loves-Maddie and Reed

SO-it was a great day....I had to go to work today, BUT when I got off I went and scooped up my kiddos and we had an amazing day playing outside it the 30/40 degree Minnesota weather! The snow is FINALLY melting and it was so nice out today...we played with sidewalk chalk, one of Maddie's FAV things and then Maddie, Reed, Myself and Zeena all headed to the park on a walk.  Funny story, we almost get to the park..there is what feels like a million people there and Zeena right then decides to take a poop...great. She get's done and then I go to grab the doggie bag and I'M out! Yeesh! oh man, so with all these people looking at me like, hey are you gonna pick up your dogs poop? I grab my green scarf(in honor of patty's day) and pick up the poop and head to the nearest park waste bin. ha Hilarious! definitely a memorable trip to say the least...pretty sure a little angel baby thought this was pretty funny;)  So the reasoning for today's trip to the park and this blog is to remember baby angel Madison Paige Staats.  Kellie (Maddie's mommy) asked that we all take your babies outside to the park and have a great time... Take lots of pictures, kiss them, love on them and tell them about our Princess Maddie.  SO that is exactly what I did.  In honor of this little angel and her family, her mommy and daddy whom love and miss her so much. I am so thankful for my Maddie and my Reed.  They seriously are my world. My everything.

Inspiration

This is the image that started it all..This is what made me want to be a photographer...I was 14 years old and went to Canada to visit my Auntie Cynthia, Uncle James and cousins Chanel, Justin and Nik. My Aunt and Uncle own a Dance company called Motus O in the Toronto area (btw, if you EVER go there-check them out..AMAZING) and my uncle also creates all the photos/brochures/images for their company, he is a creative one. Anyway my cousin Chanel, her friend Jackie and I decided we wanted to have a photo shoot~! I mean how awesome! we get to dress up-put on make up and act like models,every 14 year olds dream!! haha...This image I LOVE LOVE <3-I can remember sitting in Chanels room, the craziness behind the camera was hilarious and just taking every moment in of watching how the lighting worked, to the angle of the camera, to the positioning of faces, eyes..! and I loved how my Uncle James simply took an ANCIENT slide projector and projected this slide for this awesome lighting....this is where it all began..this is where my passion and love for photography started, SO here is a big THANK you to my Uncle! for inspiring me to do what I love, for chasing after my dreams...for being able to capture peoples lives and freeze them, if not for a moment in time, to remember forever. I'm SO thankful to love what I do, and to everyone who has helped make it possible. So here's to sharing my photography with you..hope you enjoy it:)
